Beat Harvest Student Shows
Beat Harvest live shows are an opportunity for music students to perform at local venues in front of a live audience. They choose what to play, get together with friends and family to rehearse and then share their talents with the community.
The next show will be streaming on Friday, March 26th at 7:00pm. We refuse to let a global pandemic stop us from enjoying some great music! And the best part is, you don’t even have to leave your home to join the fun! So put on your favorite casual attire, grab some snacks, sit back and enjoy an eclectic evening of video performances from the Beat Harvest students. It’ll be just like MTV in 80’s. We’ll post a link to the show on the homepage.
There will be a virtual tip jar at this event. All of the profits from this event go to the Beat Harvest program, which includes two music education scholarships for young people from our community each year.
Yosemite Songwriting Retreat
Yosemite Songwriting Retreat celebrates the craft of songwriting and the art of performing original songs. Our mission is to support songwriters of all skill levels and genres, create an inspiring and supportive community and provide a safe space where individuals can express themselves through music.
We achieve this through classes, workshops, mentoring, performance and recording opportunities at a location that provides an environment conducive to creativity and relaxation.
The Yosemite Songwriting Retreat takes place each year during the first weekend in October. Visit the retreat website to find out more and register today.
