My Name is Adam Burns. I am an independent musician from Mariposa, California. I launched the Beat Harvest music education program in 2010 with a mission to inspire people to make music and teach them the skills they need to do so. I teach Guitar, Bass, Drums, Ukulele, Electronic instruments and Digital music production. In my teaching, I focus on unleashing creative potential and collaboration with other musicians. My goal is to teach my students not only to play their instrument, but also to use music to express themselves and build community. Gail Dreifus
My name is Gail Dreifus. I bought my first guitar at“Goodwill” at the age of 14 and have been writing songs since I could string a series of basic chords together. I am part of Meltwater Bridge Band, and 2 Pisces and I perform my original music throughout California. I am an educator with a career teaching in public school and I am now teaching private lessons on piano, ukulele, guitar and voice. I also works for the non-profit, Guitars in the Classroom, which instructs teachers so they can use music and songwriting throughout their curriculum. My mission is to bring the joy of music to my students to further their interest and creativity.

Jonah Dacanay (Student Instructor)
My name is Jonah Dacanay. I am a guitarist and vocalist located in Mariposa California. Music has always been a big part of my life, starting with learning piano when I was three years old and evolving to guitar when I was five. I am in the band JNX (pronounced jinx) with my dad and my brother and we perform all over Mariposa county and the Central Valley. I teach guitar, bass, and basic piano. My goal is to help students discover the same joy for playing an instrument that I have.
