Ava Burns
My Name is Ava Burns. I am an independent musician based in Sheffield. I launched the Beat Harvest music education program in 2010 with a mission to inspire people to make music and teach them the skills they need to do so. I teach guitar, bass, drums, ukulele, electronic instruments and digital music production. In my teaching, I focus on unleashing creative potential and collaboration with other musicians. My goal is to teach my students not only to play their instrument, but also to use music to express themselves and build community.
